Although I have only been teaching at Harper Creek since 2018, I started teaching in 2006. I spent my first 12 years on the other side of Battle Creek teaching at Pennfield. The first 10 years of my career were spent at the middle school where I taught 7th grade ELA, 8th grade ELA, Exploratory Spanish, and Spanish I. Since 2016, my focus has been high school English at all levels.
I have several other roles at HCHS. Currently, I serve as a co-coordinator for our Link Crew with Mrs. Gardner and Mr. Lowrie. I am also the women's varsity golf coach.
My own children are part of the Harper Creek family as students. Zander is a 5th grader, and Sophia is a 3rd grader this year. We love our HC family, and we look forward to working together in multiple capacities.
