According to Section 21b of the State School Aid Act, a school district is responsible for paying the lesser amount of actual tuition fees or an amount based on a state approved formula for 11th and 12th grade students attending Michigan degree-granting, postsecondary institutions when certain conditions are met. Families are responsible for paying for any remaining balance of tuition and fees associated with a student’s dual enrolling. These conditions include participation in all portions of the ACT/MME and enrollment in at least one high school course. Only certain courses are eligible under this program and courses must be a minimum of 3 credits to be counted.

Grades earned outside of Harper Creek High School are counted for credit but not toward a student’s Harper Creek High School GPA. For further information concerning dual enrollment, please contact the Counseling Office at HCHS.
